Chinese Ribbed Metal Vase

This specific style of vessel, sometimes referred to as a surahi or wine bottle in other cultures (such as Mughal Indian), has been historically used for serving wine or spirits during ceremonies. 

The etched design and bulbous shape create incredible texture for a shelf or counter.
